The Archery facility, located in Reparto Saman in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, is one of many facilities that were developed to serve as hosts for the “Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe”. The facility was developed in a large clear site used by the Archery Federation of Puerto Rico as a practice range. The project consisted in the construction of three buildings for offices, bathrooms, and storage spaces. It also included a shooting director’s station and a shooting range to accommodate 42 archers. Temporary bleachers were placed on-site to accommodate spectators in competitions. Electrical and plumbing installations were accommodated throughout the site to serve a variety of concession stands, temporary press rooms, and medical offices. Clean edges and a combination of intersecting volumes and planes make the contemporary design for this architectural project.
